Set in medieval Scotland. General Macbeth meets 3 witches who predict he will be king. Driven by ambition and urged by Lady Macbeth, he murders King Duncan. Macbeth becomes king but guilt + paranoia make him kill more people including Banquo. Lady Macbeth goes mad. Macbeth’s tyranny ends when Macduff kills him.
