Mr. Earnshaw brings a wild orphan boy, Heathcliff, to live at Wuthering Heights on the Yorkshire moors. Heathcliff and Mr. Earnshaw’s daughter Catherine grow up close and fall in love. But Catherine marries rich Edgar Linton for social status. Hurt and angry, Heathcliff leaves, then returns years later to get revenge on everyone who hurt him and Catherine. Love and hate destroy two families across two generations.
